you can by grow lamps at your hardware stoe,( lowes, home depot, etc) look on they web for them.
For starting plants you can get a good flourecent set. Get the ones meant to grow plants and seedlings. They have low temps and electricity consumption.
If you actually want to grow fruits and vegetables you will have to get some high intensity lights. Professional indoor hydroponic farms use a mix of High Pressure Sodium and Halides. Both of these types of lights produce high tempuratures that require ventallation. They will also eat up your electric bill.
